While we pride ourselves on being a professional organization, we still love to have fun! In addition to our various cultural, political and community service focused events, we also have social events!

Here’s what you can expect throughout the year:

New Student Orientation 2010 - OMG! I’m A FRESHMAN Again!

Every year we host our own new student orientation to welcome all freshmen and transfer students into our community. It’s a free event for all students that has food, a show and and prizes! It introduces everyone to what KSA is really about here at Rutgers, including all our events and programs. It’s also a great networking event where you can meet KSA staff members and learn how to get involved, or maybe even meet a potential future Big Sib or Lil Sib!

Welcome Back! Fall BBQ

Following our orientation, we host an outdoor barbeque in mid-September. In a more comfortable setting with fun games and great food, its a great place to re-connect with people you met at orientation, or meet new people as well. Many past Big/Lil Sib relationships were made here! Best of all – its FREE!

3V3 Basketball Tournament

With November comes our annual 3V3 Basketball Tournament. Sixteen teams play their hearts out to win the title of KSA Basketball Tournament Champions. With legit trophies and gift card prizes, this exciting event is open to everyone.

These are the main events for the Fall 2010 semester, but there are still many more events such as our annual Semiformal, game nights and member outings. We’ll update you on these in the next few weeks. This year, we’re hoping to bring you even more fun and new events, so stay tuned! If you have any suggestions, feel free to email us as well.
